MUMBAI: Television heartthrob Aly Goni, best known for his breakout role in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, has long been a beloved figure on Indian television.
With a successful career spanning acting and reality television including appearances on Bigg Boss 14, Khatron Ke Khiladi, and Nach Baliye Aly has consistently impressed audiences with his versatility and charm.
In addition to his work on screen, Aly has also ventured into entrepreneurship. He is the co-founder of Kashmir Organic Nuts, a business he launched with passion and dedication.
After months of hard work, the venture has recently hit a major milestone, marking a proud moment for the actor-turned-businessman.

However, in recent days, Aly Goni has found himself at the centre of a different kind of spotlight—this time due to his vocal stance on peace amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan.
As the region grapples with the effects of cross-border conflict, particularly in areas like Jammu, Punjab, and Gujarat, many families, including Aly’s own in Jammu, have been living in constant fear and uncertainty.
The actor took to social media to share his anguish and plea for peace, following a series of disturbing incidents including drone sightings and explosions reported in Jammu and Kashmir, shortly after both nations had reportedly agreed to a ceasefire.
Despite his heartfelt appeal, Aly faced an unexpected backlash from sections of the public who criticised his stance. In response, he remained firm and unshaken. In a strongly worded post,
Aly wrote:“People want to abuse me? Please go ahead—I genuinely don’t care. I still want peace for my state, for my family, and for my country. That’s my opinion, and it’s not going to change.#Ceasefire”
Earlier this month, Aly had also opened up about a harrowing night when his family in Jammu was caught in the midst of an attack.
“Sleepless and shattered, stuck out of India while my family in Jammu endures last night's attack,” he shared. “My entire family—children, parents—are living under the fear of drones and unrest. Yet some glorify war from the safety of their homes, posting on social media. It’s not so simple when you’re near the border.”
He concluded his message with a heartfelt note of gratitude to the Indian Air Force and Army, and a prayer for continued safety and peace.
Aly Goni’s candidness and courage in the face of criticism have struck a chord with many, reminding us that amid the noise of conflict, the voice of reason and humanity should never be silenced.
