Indian Idol Abhijeet Sawant discovers his funny bone

After singing and acting, Abhijeet Sawant wants to now try his hand at comedy. He will be seen in an episode of Laughter Ke Phatke. He will play a character of a reporter and will be seen with stand-up comedian Rajeev Nigam. Nigam will play a ‘bai’ and Abhijeet will interview her about her problems she encounters in her day to day life. The Indian Idol winner confirmed the news of doing the show and said,“It was great doing comedy. I was very comfortable doing it. In future, I will try and look for more comedy shows.” Abhijeet’s episode will be aired tomorrow at 10 pm on Star One.
