Sourabhee Debbarma who became the first female Indian Idol in its fourth season and created a record of sorts in its fourth season is now ready to break another record on the forthcoming Guinness World Records Ab India Todega.
Sourabhee has taken up the challenge of breaking record of Rebecca Wrights who has earlier made a record by singing upside down for three minutes and two point forty five seconds. She says, “I will be attempting to sing upside down for a longer period of time than her, maybe for four minutes and thirty seconds.”
So has she practised singing upside down? “I did practise it by trying to watch TV while going upside down on the sofa and I have practised the same on my chair too.” She will be singing songs from Preity Zinta’s films. She says, “I am singing Kuch toh hua hai and It’s the time to Disco (Kal Ho Na Ho), Bhumroo (Mission Kashmir).”
A source says, “The singer has already been through the record breaking moment. Where she was judged on her voice melody, tune, singing and she was not supposed to pause in between the songs.”
When asked Sourabhee if she has already broken the record she says, “I have already done it but I cannot reveal anything about it as yet you will have to watch the show for it.”
We hear Preity’s good friend Salman Khan will be making it to the show too where he will be ripping more than 15 t-shirts off his body in a minute beating someone’s record of 14 tees. Well, knowing his penchant for keeping his shirt off, we aren’t surprised!
