Ashwini Dheer’s Garima Productions is presently on the verge of making one of the biggest shows in Indian TV history!! Well, the adaptation from the classic novel by Dr. Dharamvir Bharati titled Gunahon Ka Devta is said to be a one-of-a-kind love story on TV and is being made for Life OK.
While the makers are looking into every minute and intricate detail to present the show in a grand manner, viewers we are told will be in for a visual treat as efforts have been taken to shoot at amazing real life locales.
And one such shoot recently happened at the Rewari Locomotive Shed situated near Delhi. It will be the first time in the history of Indian television that a sequence will be shot using the grand old steam engine.
A reliable source told us that the locomotive shed in Rewari happens to be the only loco shed that still remains in India. The yard houses the Akbar loco engine, one of India’s first steam engines that served the Delhi – Kolkata main line. In the history of films, the Rewari locomotive shed has been featured in many blockbuster and popular films like Gadar, Veer Zaara, Rang De Basanti, and the very recent Bhaag Mikha Bhaag. And Ashwini Dheer’s crew managed to get special permissions to shoot a sequence using the grand old steam engine.
As per the story line, this important sequence shot at the loco shed in Rewari will mark the introductory scene of the male protagonist in the show, Rahil Azam.
We tried getting a quote from Producer Ashwini Dheer on this remarkable sequence, but could not get him on line.
We sent out a text message to Ajit Thakur, Business Head, Life OK, but got no revert till the time we filed the story.
This magnum opus Ashwini Dheer presentation is expected to launch on Life OK post IPL. Tellychakkar.com has been exclusively reporting about the cast in the show, that includes Rahil Azam in the lead role, Shweta Salve, Umang Jain, Aditi Tailang, Rajendra Gupta in pivotal roles.
