Rupali had asked her fans to do this special thing on her birthday instead of sending her expensive gifts. She revealed, 'I know all of you love me and I am really touched to receive such beautiful gifts but if you all don't mind then I have a request to make. I would love to see that instead of you all spending on buying gifts for me if you all could just adopt a stray, don't bring them home but just feed them and take care of them. Just like us, they also get hungry and need some kind of love and care to grow. It would be amazing if you all could do this, feed the stray, keep water and pulses for the birds in this hot weather and click a picture and send it to me. I would be overwhelmed receiving this as the most precious gift. I am eager to connect with all of you on my birthday and as you all know that having an animal shelter is my dream, this would be a great step in helping me make the dream come true.'
Fans gave her exactly that. She even came live and got emotional while sharing how overwhelmed she was on receiving so many messages of her fans feeding strays, taking care of them, and more. Well, now Gaurav Khanna sent 300 kgs of pet food for the strays at an NGO as Rupali's birthday gift. We cannot keep calm but just adore him for this.
