MUMBAI: Sony SAB's long-running show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma has become everyone's favourite throughout the nation and also in various parts of the world.

The hit sitcom is successfully running on small screens for more than a decade now and has broken several records. 

We have seen how the makers have always entertained us not just with the comic content but also given out eye-opening messages to the viewers. 

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma is not just a show but an emotion for every Indian household.  

Each and every character in the show has become extremely popular.  

Every character in the show changes with time but when it comes to Taarak Mehta, not just the makers but also the actors have managed to keep the essence of their character intact even after several years. 

The show's story is going on in the same flow ever since the beginning without even witnessing any leaps.

Over the years, a lot of new characters were added to the show to spice up the same. 

At the same time, several popular characters bid adieu to the show and the makers roped in new actors to play those roles. 

Disha Vakani who plays the iconic Dayaben's character has been missing from the show for many years now. 

Neither the makers nor the actress has given any confirmation if Dayaben's character will return or not.

Apart from Disha, the viewers saw how Gurucharan Singh Sodhi who played the role of Roshan Singh Sodhi made an exit from the show in the year 2020. 

Even Jheel Mehta and Nidhi Bhanushali portrayed Sonu's characters for some years and made exit. 

Bhavya Gandhi was replaced by Raj Anadkat in the show. 

Neha Mehta who portrayed Anjali's character quit TMKOC and Sunayana Fozdar stepped in her shoes. 

Monika Bhadoriya who portrayed the role of Bawri in the show also bid adieu after six years. 

Well, there is one common similarity between all these actors which not many are aware of. 

Interestingly, none of the actors except Bhavya aka Tapu made their comeback in the acting world post they quit Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma. 

The viewers were eagerly waiting to see each one of them back in other projects but there was no luck. 

Bhavya did many projects post quitting TMKOC in the year 2017 both in the Hindi and Gujarati industries. 

Well, we really hope to soon see all these actors back on the screens with new projects.
