On the personal front, Ravii and wife Sargun Mehta enjoyed a productive time since last year despite the pandemic. They went on to become producers and Sargun's Punjabi film had a rather successful run. With the couple now being business partners too, how does that impact the dynamics of their marriage?
Ravi shares, “Sargun and I are married in every aspect of life, and it is the most beautiful collaboration. I respect and admire the partnership we have and want to inspire others to have this kind of a collaboration with their partner too. There can't be a better partner for your business than your spouse because you have maximum trust in them.”
Adding his view about television being regressive, Ravi said, “I don't think there is complete truth in TV being regressive. So many shows are inspiring women and are reaching both rural and urban markets. Gone are the days when women had to be subservient to the other gender. This condescending tone for TV is not what it deserves, especially by virtue of the fact that it is streaming to millions of households. Some content is not up to the mark, but most are inspiring stories. So that perspective of TV is begging for a repair.”
