I hail from a very well educated family and my parents always wanted me to get a degree. When I was in my sixth standard, my mother saw one of my neighbour’s acting in a show and since then she wanted me to become an actor. And luckily things fell in place and I started acting right from my eight standard.

A page from the personal diary of Ishita Sharma You all see me as Anjali "Anji" Solanki in TV series, Kuch Toh Log Kahenge and in real life I am Ishita Sharma. I hail from a very well educated family and my parents always wanted me to get a degree. When I was in my sixth standard, my mother saw one of my neighbour’s acting in a show and since then she wanted me to become an actor. And luckily things fell in place and I started acting right from my eight standard. My experience has been really good. I have done a few episodes as a kid, and then as I got older I did cameo in Kya Haadsa Kya Haqueet. And after that, films, commercials and television happened. I am basically from science background and wanted to be a doctor, but I was immensely focused towards acting and I finally took up Arts and did my Psychology later on. My parents have always taught me that education pays a vital role. So I pursuing a degree in English Literature and am in my first year. At the moment my preference is college and Kuch Toh.. I am very happy with my role in this daily. I play a supportive character and I get time for myself. I want some time for myself and my family. And this role is giving me a great opportunity to pursue my exams, college and work. In fact, my character is loved by the audiences and I get my fan mails and calls, all thanks to this character. Thank you all my fans for loving and appreciating my role and character. Keep watching and loving me.
