MUMBAI: Daily soaps involves a lot of drama and emotions. Actors are required to get into the skin of a character and it often requires them to shed tears for the camera. Many actors tend towards using glycerin drops to fake tears but Vishal Karwal says he hasn’t resorted to using it for his emotional scenes since a few years.
Talking about the same he says, “It of course wasn’t something that happened from the start. It was a gradual process that I started feeling the emotions of the character deeply that resulted in natural tears. And over the last few years I stopped using glycerin. It has always been natural. I make sure I am completely involved in the character to give my best.”

Vishal has done a variety of roles in daily soaps and also movies. When asked how he prepares for the role, he says, “I honestly don’t prepare much for the role. I read the script before my shot and understand what exactly I have to do. And once I am in front of the camera, I go all in. I don’t even look at my shot on the monitor after it is done. I am sure of how well I have done. And if I am not satisfied, I ask for another shot.”
Dwarkadheesh – Bhagwaan Shree Krishn is a story of how after becoming the king of Dwarka, Lord Krishna becomes a protector and maintains relationships with his family members and loved ones. It is currently airing at 9am on Dangal TV.
