MUMBAI: Regarded as the "first female superstar" of Indian cinema, late actress Sridevi was undoubtedly one of the most adorable Bollywood personalities. She was the recipient of various accolades and worked in various languages including Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. The actress was born on 13 August 1963. Her sudden death on 24th February 2018 left the country in shock. But she will continue to live on in our hearts and memories forever. Recently, the wax statue of the actress was unveiled at Madame Tussauds Singapore. The statue was unveiled by Boney Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor.
Arjun Bijlani, who is known for the soap Naagin, has shared his opinion about the same. Arjun took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “Although the wax statue MadameTussauds will never be as gorgeous as the stunning Late Sridevi Ji It’s great when someone as righteously deserving as Late #Sridevi is given the honour for her impeccable contribution to the industry that is Entertainment.”
