It's a 'double celebration' on Taarak Mehta sets

Celebration on the sets of Neela Telefilms’ cult comedy show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah on SAB TV has not ceased ever since the team went on an extravagant ‘Mumbai Darshan’ to celebrate the success of completion of 1500 episodes. Now, the unit took time off to celebrate the moment on their set, by cutting a cake. And the occasion actually demanded a double celebration, as Disha Vakani our very own Dayaben celebrated her birthday too. So the Producer Asit Kumarr Modi made sure that the entire cast and crew gathered in to enjoy the double celebration. When contacted, Disha told us, “This is really a great phase for Taarak Mehta, now that we have completed 1500 episodes. I want to thank my lovely audience. On the set, we cut two cakes back to back, and the second cake was for my birthday (smiles). I thank all my co-actors and Producer as they wished me a lot. And of course, the cake was super yummy.” We hear that post the cake-cutting session, Daya along with all others got into a garba playing mood, and what followed next on the set was simple fun and excitement.
