It's Jubilee Comedy Circus on Sony now

The promos of Jubilee Comedy Circus are already on air. Comedy Circus will soon have its jubilee celebrations as the new season Jubilee Comedy Circus airs this Friday. The participants of this show will have a few newcomers along with seasoned actors. The finalized pairs are Bharti Singh-Manish Paul, Jaswant Singh-Pratima Kazmi, VIP-Jay Soni, Saloni Daini-Rehman Khan, Rajiv Thakur-Pooja Gor, Rajiv Nigam-Krushna Abhishek. Pooja Kanwal of Sasuraal Genda Phool fame will be the new host this time around. Says a source, “Archana Puran Singh continues to remain as one of the judges, but nothing is confirmed about her co-judge along Shekhar Suman who is busy with Jhalak 4. Mithun Chakravarthy would be adjudicating the first episode which has already been shot. Whether or not Shekhar will continue as the judge has not been decided yet.” Adds the source further, “Sahil Anand performed a solo act while Rakhi Sawant performed a number. Sharad Kelkar, Swapnil Joshi and Ali Asgar were a part of the show as well. An unfortunate incident took place while shooting for Mithunda’s act. His entry was through a harness and our stuntman was instructing him on the same. However something went wrong with the harness and the stuntman lost his balance and fell on the on a chair which was on the ground. We had to rush him to the hospital immediately.” We tried calling Rajiv Thakur and Krushna who remained unavailable to comment.
