MUMBAI: Sony Entertainment Television’s The Kapil Sharma Show will be celebrating Christmas in a special way. The show extends a warm welcome to the cast of one of the most anticipated movies of the year, Coolie No. 1. Varun Dhawan, Sara Ali Khan, Shikha Talsania, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Javed Jaffrey, Sahil Vaid and producer Jackky Bhagnani will be seen gracing the stage and taking the entertainment quotient a few notches higher this weekend.
While reminiscing his experience from the initial days of shooting, Varun Dhawan said, “Jab dad film bana rahe hote hai toh woh sirf audience key liye bana rahe hote hai. Kyunki, unkaa relation sirf audience ke sath hai as unki khudki ek legacy rahi hai jo vo mind main rakhtein hai. Vo humeshaa kehtein hai key, ek film main sabse week actor ek hero hota hai… aur mere dad yeh kehtein hein key main itney characters (supporting cast) isiliye rakhtaa hu film main..Kyuki, yeh log he toh chalatein hai meri filmein..Humor tabhi toh aata hai and I agree with that. Jab main shooting kar raha hun with Paresh Rawal, Johny Lever, Rajpal Yadav and Javed Jaffrey, they create magic and I have to hang in there and stay in the character.
Speaking of the legends, Varun Dhawan expressed his respect for Johnny Lever and said, “Johnny sir ek institution hai, mera saubhagya hai ki meri tesree film hai unkein saat aur jab koi bhi kalakar, Johnny sir key saat kaam karein toh who scene aaram sey hee hotaa hai kyuki aapko pataa hai jab Johnny sir scene main hotein hai toh log hasengey aur khush hongey hee. Matlab itna bharosa hai public ko unpar aur woh bhi yeh hee bharose ko lekar kaam kartein hai. Even after so many years, he is so passionate as if koi naya kalakar hai… jaise main aur Sara, jab hum unhein dekhtein hai, humein lagta hai key God has blessed him in some way because, jis tarekey sey humein hasaarahe hai, I think Bhagvan ne unhein bheja hi tha iskey liye, ke woh logo ko hasa paye”.
