Jayshree Venketaramanan: "I want to fall in love"

A page from the personal diary of Jayshree Venketaramanan I don’t know where to start from. I have so many memories to share. Okay, let’s see. The best thing that has happened to me till date is Beend Banoongaa. I am from Delhi and three years back I came to Mumbai to become an actor. But after struggling for three full years, I did not manage to get a single show. So I decided to pack my bags and go back home. When I was sitting at the station and waiting for the train, I was disappointed and dejected and told myself, “What a loser you are, Jayshree. Three years and you could not bag one role.” But after getting back to Delhi, I got a call for Beend Banoongaa. I was on cloud nine but also very apprehensive at the same time. I thought they might say, “No no, we called you mistakenly. You are not the right girl.” So many crazy and weird thoughts were chewing my brains. But finally things got okay and I am having a nice time shooting. Furthermore, another thing I must share. I remember that after the launch of Beend… in Jaipur, my dad called me up one morning. He was reading a newspaper sitting in Delhi and went on crying. He was seeing my photo and was reading about my show. He finally uttered, “I am proud of you, beta.” Till date, I get goose bumps when I think of that day. It’s wonderful. Oh God, I am talking only about work. I have a sad life I must say. I only work and then get back home. Well, do you know any decent guy? If yes, then please let me know. I want to fall in love. I am not joking, I am serious. Okay, this is all for this time.
