MUMBAI: Star Plus’ beloved drama ‘Jhanak’ continues to hold its ground as a powerhouse in Indian television, consistently ranking among the top five most-watched shows since its sensational debut last year.
With compelling performances by Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja, the series has struck a deep chord with viewers, securing a steadfast fan base and retaining a commanding position on the TRP charts.
In recent weeks, the show has generated a lot of buzz as it’s going for a leap after which we could see sweeping changes to the storyline including the potential introduction of an entirely new cast.
This news stirred a wave of concern among devoted fans, particularly those who have emotionally invested in Hiba Nawab’s portrayal of the titular character, Jhanak. We had updated exclusively that the leap was postponed until the IPL season came to an end.

As per sources, Komal Shrivastava has been roped in for the show, post leap. The actress is said to be playing a positive role but more details are yet to be disclosed. The actress has earlier made her presence in popular shows like Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2, Kundali Bhagya and Yeh Hai Chahatein.
