Kahani Comedy Circus Ki's last shooting date is 23 May 2012

Here’s another show which is all set to come to an end. You like comedy? We certainly do. It’s a wonderful medium to bring a smile to everyone’s lips. Okay, we are digressing. Where were we? Yes, show coming to an end. We are talking about Optimystix’s Comedy Circus on Sony Entertainment Television. The super popular rib-tickler is all set to hit the shooting floors for the last time on 23 May 2012. Does it mean it is going off air? Yes, that is pretty obvious. It will draw curtains sometime in the end of May or beginning of June. Oh, what do we hear? Some of the show’s fans are weeping silently? Okay, okay…relax. Comedy is going off air to only come back again to entertain each and everyone. Now, the show usually runs continually without a break but this time around the makers have decided to give it a halt. During the break period, it is believed that Indian Idol season 6 (Fremantle) will be aired in place of Comedy. However, our sources have informed that the show will have a logical ending which will include eliminations and of course, a grand finale. The show is expected to return once Indian Idol bids adieu. Tellychakkar.com spoke to Archana Puran Singh, one of the judges on Comedy… and she said, “Yes, we will be taking a seasonal break and if one has been watching the episodes, the contestants have been joking about the show going off air.” We also tried contacting producer Vipul Shah of Optimystix but he remained unavailable.
