MUMBAI : Why not Daughter? Is a short film specially made to reflect on the Indian Society and our mindset. This film is shot in a small town in Himachal Pradesh and has managed without a starry star cast. End of the day when it comes to choosing between a girl or a boy child, most of the Indian society is clear about their priority. This movie would like to reflect this mindset and in turn is trying to shake the Indian society. We all make choices, right or wrong is only determined with time.
Kamya released it today saying :
Every time I watch this film I cry a little more, with every tears in my eyes my question to the society becomes louder....... Why Not Daughter?
