MUMBAI: About a few days ago, Sanjay Dutt was hospitalised in a Mumbai hospital after he complained of having breathing issues. The actor tested negative for COVID-19 and also returned home after being under doctor’s observation. It was yesterday that the reports of Sanjay Dutt being diagnosed with Lung cancer made it to the headlines. This came after the actor informed fans about taking a break from work for a few days. Now, actress Kamya Punjabi has urged fans to pray for Sanjay Dutt’s speedy recovery and revealed that she will have an ‘ankhand jyot’ for him and pray to Bappa.

On Twitter, Kamya Punjabi tweeted, “I will pray 2my Bappa  dis yr Ganesh sthapna will be filled wit prayers 4 r Baba..i will hav akhand jyot 4u...pls pls stay strong n get well real soon....u r my fav since i was 10,u remember i had met u at mehboob studio n gifted u a zippo..i m dat same crazy girl @duttsanjay .”

Kamya then mentioned about also having an ‘Akhand Jyot’ for the actor and asked him to be strong during these tough times. Kamya recalled an incident when she met Dutt at Mehboob studio and revealed that she is that same crazy girl, tagging the actor in the tweet. She revealed that Sanjay Dutt has been her favourite since she was 10-year-old and mentioned she also gifted the actor a Zippo.

The actress made another tweet urging fans to pray for Sanjay Dutt’s speedy recovery. Kamya wrote, “prathna meh bahot shakti hoti hai,” and mentioned how prayers have a lot of power in a person’s healing. Punjabi also shared a picture of Sanjay Dutt with his parents from his young days and tweeted, “KAR HARR MAIDAAN FATEH May Ganapati Bappa Give you the strength to fight back n win this battle too Praying for ur speedy recovery @duttsanjay.”
