Kanan Malhotra and Charu Asopa roped in for Sahara One's Phir Jeene Ki Tamanna Hai

Tellychakkar.com had earlier reported that Entertainment Hub, the sister concern of Trillogic Digital Media Ltd (production house) has taken over Sahara One’s programming and will initially bring in two new shows namely Aaj Phir Jeene Ki Tamanna Hai and Masakkali. The latest we hear is that Aaj Phir Jeene Ki Tamanna Hai has been rechristened as Phir Jeene Ki Tamanna Hai and it will have the good looking Kanan Malhotra playing the lead. Viewers will remember Kanan was part of Preeto but gained much popularity with the love-drama show, Rab Se Sohna Isshq. When we called up Kanan, he confirmed the news and said, “In the show, I essay the role of a Casanova but someone who is good at heart. He does not do things on purpose to hurt others. He is also a happy-go-lucky man who has nothing to worry about in life because he is filthy rich.” On taking up a show on Sahara One, he added, “I took up the show as the kind of role they had for me was never offered to me before. And I am extremely happy to be a part of it.” Furthermore, Charu Asopa currently seen in Diya Aur Baati Hum has been signed up to essay a negative role. Confirming the same, Charu averred, “Though I have signed on the dotted lines, I haven’t begun shooting for it yet.” As reported earlier, Nivedita Tiwari of Bhagonwali fame will be playing the female lead in the show.
