Kanikka Kapur runs 15 km carrying 10 Kg riffle for the preparation of Ek Duje Ke Vaaste 2

MUMBAI: One who fears, can never win. This is the belief of two young individuals Mohit Kumar aka Shravan and Kanikka Kapur aka Suman who would be seen in the role of army personnel. When they chose the role, they knew it wasn’t going to be easy. The two actors are putting in all the hardwork to adhere up to the expectations of their team and are ready to entice the viewers.

The first Season of Ek Duje ke Vaaste had been a rage among the audience and there are huge expectations from the upcoming season. Set against an army backdrop, Ek Duje ke Vaaste 2 is a stunning love story with a present-day touch. The cast of the show recently shot for the promo of the show in outdoor locations like Satara and Ladakh, where they shot for the sequence of their army life. While the shoot required the leads to perform many stunts and they were given the option of having body doubles for the same, the two decided to shoot for it themselves.

Suman has an aim to join army just like her father and to prepare for the same she joins NCC. In a sequence of the show, she would be seen running carrying a 10kg riffle. Kanikka wanted this scene to look real and thus repeatedly rehearsed for the same. She covered the circumference of 4 kms of the Satara ground around 4 times. The total distance she had covered during this was approx.. 16 times and all the people were surprised to see her fitness.

Speaking about the same Kanikka said, “I want to give my best in all the sequences I do, especially if it’s an army related scene. For a scene of the show, I would be seen running carrying a 10 kg riffle and I wanted it to look as real as possible. I wanted to perform it like an NCC cadet would do and so to get in the feel, I decided to run with the riffle as much as I can. I was so excitd for this that I did not even realize when I completed more than 15 kms.
