In his statement, Karan said,"Dear new age tabloids, I’m sick of you marrying me off this year or next, announcing my engagement on a reality show just because we’re in Dubai. I understand it gives you numbers, and apparently, that’s what it’s all about these days. But to most of you, me or my agent are just a phone call away – why don’t you just call and confirm? What’s happening is a bit too much. Whenever I get married or engaged, have a child or anything major, I will personally announce it with love and clarity to you all."
