MUMBAI: Renowned television star Karan Patel, best remembered for his powerful portrayal in the immensely popular series Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, has shed light on an interesting facet of his career in a recent candid podcast conversation.
The actor, who has been a familiar face on Indian television for years, revealed that he has received multiple offers to join Bigg Boss.
However, despite the buzz and popularity surrounding the reality show, Patel has consistently declined the invitation – and he’s finally explained why.

Speaking openly during the interview, Karan shared, “I would have considered doing the show if the concept had remained the way it used to be. But the format has changed entirely – now it's all about commoners and influencers, and quite frankly, I have no interest in watching them argue on screen. I want to see only celebrities in the house. That’s the Bigg Boss I used to enjoy. As long as it remains the way it is, I won’t ever be a part of it.”
While his opinion may ruffle a few feathers, Karan’s honesty is refreshing.
Known for his bold and unfiltered views, he has never shied away from voicing his thoughts – and fans admire him all the more for it.
It’s worth noting that Karan has previously graced the Bigg Boss stage on several occasions, not as a contestant, but as a guest offering insights and feedback on the performance of housemates.
