MUMBAI : Like many other television celebrities, stars Karan Tacker and Rithvik Dhanjani are busy spending their lockdown days at home with their closed ones. With the Coronavirus outbreak in the country, as the TV shootings have begun, a few TV celebrities like Parth Samthaan, Mohena Kumari, Shrenu Parikh and others tested positive for the virus and recovered from it as well. Now, the latest reports state that Karan Tacker and Rithvik Dhanjani have tested positive for COVID-2019 and are hiding the news from fans on social media. In return, as there are speculations, Rithvik Dhanjani reacts and clarifies it.

According to a report in Dainik Bhaskar, sources close to actor Karan Tacker revealed that he has tested positive for COVID-2019. The report states that the actor contracted the virus when he travelled to Delhi on Wednesday. He was found COVID-2019 positive upon his arrival at the airport and Tacker chose to be in quarantine in a hotel, as per the report. The report also stated that Karan Tacker did not share the news of him testing positive to avoid trolling over negligence. With no official announcement made about Tacker testing positive, the report also stated that Rithvik Dhanjani also tested positive for the virus.
As reports state that Rithvik Dhanjani tested positive for COVID-2019 along with Karan Tacker hits headlines, the actor reacted to it and clarified it. Speaking with the publication, Rithvik Dhanjani called the reports as a rumour and clearly denied testing positive for the deadly virus. The actor also confirmed that neither he nor his family members have tested positive for COVID-2019.
Meanwhile, as Rithvik Dhanjani clarifies about his health, until now, Karan Tacker has not yet made an official announcement on the same.
