MUMBAI: Bigg Boss 18 winner Karan Veer Mehra is facing criticism online after liking a tweet that fans are calling “immature and petty.” The tweet suggested that Karan’s win is being “solidified” because of their assumed twists happening in the friendships of former contestants.
The tweet read: "The funny thing is, Munawar supported Vivian, is now inviting KV to his shows and Elvish supported Rajat and now Rajat betrayed Elvish. Legacy of KV's win gets solidified everyday!"
Many netizens did not find it funny and called Karan out for still being stuck in the Bigg Boss mindset. Some even accused him of being obsessed with Vivian Dsena, one of his biggest competitors in the house.
“It’s June and the finale happened in January. Why is he still liking these tweets? It looks like he’s still competing with Vivian even outside the house,” one fan wrote.
Another wrote, “A true winner would’ve moved on by now. This just looks childish.”
While Karan hasn’t responded to the backlash, the tweet he liked quickly went viral, drawing mixed reactions. Some loyal fans supported him, saying he has every right to engage with tweets he finds funny. But the majority believe that liking such posts reflects poorly on his sportsmanship and maturity.
It remains to be seen if Karan will address the criticism, but for now, social media is buzzing with debates over whether the Bigg Boss 18 winner is still thinking of the game—months after the show ended.
