MUMBAI: Host Big B started the show by talking about the guests of 'Karamveer' special episode. The special guests on the hot seat were Girls Higher Secondary School Jahangirabad, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh's Principal Usha Khare and Ranjit Disale of Zilla Parishad's Primary-Secondary school Paritewadi, Solapur district from Maharashtra.
They were joined by Bollywood actor Boman Irani.
Mr Bachchan shared that Ranjit Disale recently won the 'Global Teacher Prize 2020'. He was selected from 140 countries and 12,000 nominations of Teachers and became the first Indian to get this honour. Big B revealed that they had recorded the episode with Ranjit Disale few days but through a video call they want to congratulate him on his achievement.
Ranjit Disale dedicated this award to all the teachers who are working in different villages to educate the future generation. Mr. Bachchan shared that Ranjit distributed the prize money of the 'Global Teacher Prize 2020', which was Rs. 7 crore 40 thousand amongst all the 10 finalists equally. Ranjit shared that sharing is growing and he felt that all the other candidates are working equally hard and they all deserved it.
Big B then resumed the game show with Priya, who is in 10th standard. Priya used her first lifeline for 20,000 points, which was on cricket. She took 'Flip The Question' and successfully answered the replacement question on Indian Politics.
During her conversation, Priya shared with Mr Bachchan that she aspires to become an IAS officer and shared that one has to be a good person in oneself and be the change in the society.
She shared that after watching 3 Idiots, she has realised that there is no point in running behind success and one should chase excellence. She took her second lifeline for the question of 6,40,000 points.
Priya told Big B that if she wins a huge amount, she wants to help her family fulfill their needs. Besides, she pursues to help the needy and wishes to donate to organizations that help the poor and specially-abled.
For the 25,00000 points, she used two lifelines as the first one of 'Ask The Expert' could not help her. She then used 'Video A Friend' and managed to answer it correctly.
As she was not sure about the Rs 50,00000, she decided to quit the game and took home Rs 25,00000.
Big B then invited the two Karamveer guests Usha Khare, (National Teacher's Awardee) and Ranjit Disale. The champion for the cause for the episode was Boman Irani. Mr Bachchan started the game with Usha Khare and Boman Irani.
Usha Khare shared that teaching is in her blood as her father would teach underprivileged kids, dropouts, and even adults. She further said his father would ask them also to teach the kids and she likes doing it.
Mr Bachchan asked Boman Irani as a kid how he was as a student. Boman shared that his mother was a single parent and as a kid, he had a speech defect. He revealed that he stammered quite a lot.
Boman revealed that as a kid he would feel very bad as people would make fun of him and laugh at him and hence he became quite, but the only thing that gave him happiness was when he stepped on the stage to sing or dramatics. Then, his mother decided to send him to a speech therapist and always encouraged to do what made him happy. She would ask him to watch films every single day. And he shared that it paid off for his mother.
Boman decided to ask Big B how he was a student during his childhood days and Mr Bachchan replied saying, "Main bahut darpok tha (I was a coward).". The megastar revealed that he would do many things as a kid and would not let anyone know about it. "Bahut si cheese hum karte the jo chori-chupe karte the aur kabhi batate nahi the kisi ko.".
He narrated a story from his childhood when he and his friends were attacked by a rock viper snake. While they were running, they noticed a hunter on the other side of the road and asked him for help. The hunter helped them and killed the snake. "Maar diya toh humko laga ki bahut badi cheez ho gayi.", said Big B.

Mr Bachchan told Boman that he and his friends took out a hockey stick and put the dead snake on it and started flaunting it the school as a sign of their victory. Later, their principal learnt about it and asked them what they did. After learning that they had killed a snake, he asked them to come inside and that they will get beaten with a belt six times.
Talking about his principal, Amitabh Bachchan shared, "Humare principal Britisher the toh ek British atmosphere tha. Sachai bahut important hoti thi. (Our principle emphasized on truth). He would ask them, "You know that you have done something wrong? and they would reply, "Yes, sir", to which the principal said, "I am going to give you six cuts.".
Big B then revealed that the school has a separate room in a garage where many oiled sticks were kept. He further shared that he and his friends were asked to bend and hold the handles of a wheelbarrow. Then their principal would hit them on the back.
Mr Bachchan said, "Saas nikal jaati thi, itna pain hota tha. Lekin karyakram ye hota tha ki khade hokar bolna padta tha, 'Thank you, sir'.", to which both Boman Irani and the guests burst out laughing.
Usha Khare read a poem praising the show Kaun Banega Crorepati 12. After Usha, Ranjit Disale joined Boman Irani on the hot seat to continue with the game. Ranjit won the prize of USD 1 Million for his innovative addition of QR codes on textbooks.
During his conversation with Big B, Ranjit revealed that he got this idea while he was at a shop and saw the shopkeeper using the QR code while making the bill. This created a curiosity and after research, he came up with this idea. Mr Bachchan and Boman both were all praise for Ranjit.
During one of the questions on photography, Big B revealed that Boman Irani is a great photographer in real life. He shared that the Munna Bhai actor has clicked many photographs and photoshoots for people from the industry. Boman told Big B that he has never clicked his pictures.
While talking about MF Hussain, Boman revealed that MF Hussain would come to his shop to buy wafers in his grey Ambassador car.
Usha, Ranjit Disale and Boman Irani won Rs 50,00000 as the show come to an end.
