Yet another Balaji show has gone for a generation leap to keep its audience hooked onto the show. Ekta Kapoor’s late night show Kayamath has undergone a generation leap of five years and miseries of the lead characters Prachi (Panchi Bora) and Milind (Shabbir Ahluwalia) continue.
According to a source from the show, “The track now will have a Bengali family residing in Kolkata to which Prachi would go leaving Milind behind. The new track would start with Durga puja in Kolkata. The new Bengali family will be shown on Thursday.”
Another source from the production house says, “Malaika had threatened Prachi that she would frame Milind for Ayesha’s (Sanjeeda Sheikh) murder and will get him jailed unless Prachi leaves Milind forever. Inorder to save Milind from being jailed, Prachi will now move to Kolkata but the train she is travelling in will be blown up in a bomb-blast. Milind will get a body wearing Prachi’s chain and would be left crest-fallen. But Prachi is alive and she resumes her journey to Kolkata.”
Another source from the show says, “The story will now have only Milind and Prachi from the earlier track and the rest of the characters will vanish including Neev (Jay Bhanushali), Milind’s father (S.M.Zaheer), Prachi’s dadi. The track will now concentrate on the new Bengali family and the lead characters Prachi and Milind. With this Jay would finally quit the show but may return if the story demands.”
