TellyChakkar had earlier reported about the starry finale week of Kaun Banega Crorepati. Now the news is the finale episode which aired yesterday topped the charts, breaking the scores of even the show’s opening episode.
A Map show that the finale episode had a rating of 5.5 whereas the opening episode had a 5.
Also the finale episode aired for more than an hour yesterday. The episode ran from 9 pm to 10.48 pm. And the scores out-performed the other general entertainment channels like Zee TV and Star Plus.
Ajit Thakur, Marketing Head Sony TV, confirmed the news with us. He said, “Yes, the finale did well rating-wise. We are happy the show ended on a good note. So, we are coming up with its next season!”
Meanwhile, another big-ticket show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa will take its place. Hopefully, the entertainment continues!
