Ketki Dave exits Chandragupta Maurya; Pragati Mehra to replace her
Ketki Dave

Veteran actress and theater artist Ketki Dave had been roped in to play a pivotal character in Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s Chandragupta Maurya. She was to play the negative character of Dhana Nanda’s Dai Maa.

Ketki has quit the historical saga owing to acute motion sickness. The set is located at Umbergaon, and when Ketki realized that she would not be able to commute because of her affliction, she informed the producers of her decision.

She told a leading publication, ‘I have acute motion sickness. I can travel on straight roads, but uneven surfaces and curves spell trouble for me.’

Pragati Mehra has replaced her to play the pivotal character. Pragati had made her debut with Amrapali, also a historical show.
