Among the confirmed contestants, Krishna Shroff who is actor Tiger Shroff’s sister will be participating. Tellychakkar got in a candid chat with her on what are his views on being part of the stunt based show.
This is your first Tv appearance. Will we see you more on the small screens from now on?
To be honest, it totally depends on what projects I'm offered. If it resonates with me and makes me feel true to myself, I will surely do it.
Rohit Shetty as a host has the reputation for losing his cool at contestants and at times yelling at them. How prepared are you to face him?
Let me tell you, this will be the first time I will be meeting Rohit Shetty. He has worked with my dad Jackie and brother Tiger, and now I'm the third family member he will be working with simultaneously which is great! I have seen some previous episodes where Rohit pushes contestants to the edge but that is to get the best out of them in that situation. I think with the kind of stunts there are, Rohit is the perfect person to guide and mentor you.
Since you have a martial arts background, do you think the stunts would be easier for you?
Everyone has been telling me that, but no, not at all! If your mind does not synchronise with you, your body will not follow. So I feel this show is more about being mentally strong than physically fit. Both go hand in hand.
Who is your biggest competitor?
For everyone participating in the show, this is going to be a unique and new experience so no one can be fully prepared, that is a little comforting to think that we all will go in as equals. To be honest, I'm my biggest competitor, no one else.
Being so good-looking why do you choose to always be behind the camera, when will we see you becoming an actress?
Being attractive and a good actress have no correlation. They are two different things. I know my strengths and weaknesses and thus I chose to be behind the camera. I am quite comfortable as a personality for who I am without playing a character so I'm all up for giving reality a shot!
Being Jackie Shroff’s daughter, does it come with a huge responsibility or limitation before you enter KKK?
Everything does have its pros and cons. I think coming from a certain film legacy and name we have to work just as hard to create our own identity and niche. I’m not worried about being cornered or segregated as I'm a people’s person and I love meeting new people. I have learned from my father to thrive in any situation so i’m looking forward to meeting the contestants and making some solid friendships along the way.

What is that one thing that scares you the most?
Is the production making you ask this? (laughing) To be honest, since I have already been open about it, it is the shock stunt. No one can ever be prepared for it and you cannot have any expectations from it. It really petrifies me. So let’s see how it goes!
There is no doubt that Krishna is a strong contender and will do well in Khatron ke Khiladi and we wish her all the very best!
