MUMBAI : Khushi Dubey is an Indian film and television actress.
She has acted in various TV shows like Naaginn, Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai, Baa Bahoo Aur Baby, Kasamh Se and Rakhi, Atoot Rishtey Ki Dor.
She rose to fame with her character of Chikki in the web series Aashiqana which was a huge success.
Her paring with Zayn Ibad Khan was loved by the audience and today they are seen as one of the iconic on screen couple.
TellyChakkar got in touch with the actress and where the actress spoke about her chemistry with Zayn Ibad Khan and revealed when she would be working once again with him.
What were the challenges in playing the role as this character needs you to less concentrate on your vanity?
I think I never thought of Vanity the look that doesn't require much of makeup and all but there could be audience who think about all that but I don't think about this as if you keep concentrating on your looks then your skills take a back seat and then you become very conscious. The character I am playing is simple and you can connect to it, I don't think anyone's focus should be looks. I only focus on the acting skills.
Your pervious co- star Zayn Ibad Khan has said that you both were trying to work together in a project together so what you have to say about it ?
Yes, we tried to work together in many projects and obliviously we wanted to work together since the fan craze was crazy and then when Aashiqana Season 4 ended twitter trends were there when would Season 5 come and the fans would come and ask us this questions. All the fandom have become a family because of Aashiqana and the journey was special and we want together but then as an actor you don't get to choose and we were contemplating to do or not to do projects and the bonding went to another level and the chemistry went viral and things never worked.
Well, the fans are super excited to see Khushi in a new project in a complete different avatar.
