Kiran Karmarkar to do a cameo in Saarrthi

Kiran Karmarkar is back on another show on Starplus and this time around it is not Kahanii Ghar Ghar Kii but it's a cameo role for Saarrthi. "Well, his character is that of a business Tycoon called Bankim Ahuja . Kiran fitted the role so we approached him & immediately he said yes as he liked the role & we are glad to have him in our show" says Asit Modi, the producer of the show who is quite excited about the upcoming storyline which he feels will surely excite the viewers. Saarrthi is the story of two families, their struggle with each other, their power play, their aspirations and the common dream of being the biggest corporate successes. It is the story of a modern family drama inspired by the age old epic 'The Mahabharata', a fact also made clear by the frequent appearance of Lord Krishna who is the Sutradhar of story that's relived everyday of our lives. The show has an afternoon timeslot from Monday to Thursday at 2:30 pm and has been penned by Rajesh Joshi who has been in the Balaji camp and had penned Kyunki Saas Bhi Bahu Thi and Prakash Kapadia who has scripted films like Devdas and Black.
