TellyChakkar has learned about the latest development on &TV’s upcoming fantasy show Vikram aur Betaal produced by Peninsula Pictures.
We were the first to report about the show and about versatile actor Makarand Deshpande being roped in to play Betaal in the series. The character of Vikram will be portrayed by Brahmarakshas fame Aham Sharma. In addition, pretty actress Chhavi Pandey will play the character of Queen Padmini.
Now, we have an update that Vighnaharta Ganesha fame Kuldeep Singh has been roped in to play a negative character in the show. Kuldeep will play the character of Bharmal, which is inspired by Bhalaldev of Bahubali.
We contacted Kuldeep, who confirmed the news and said, ‘Yes, I am doing the show. Right now, I am playing a very positive character of Lord Vishnu in Vighnaharta Ganesha, and portraying a totally opposite character in Vikram aur Betaal will be very challenging for me.’
The project will also feature talented actors Zuber Khan, Pooja Bannerjee, and Sooraj Thapar.
