MUMBAI: Famous for her parts in hit television series like Kumkum Bhagya and Pandya Store, actress Simran Budharup revealed a disturbing experience from her visit to Mumbai's famed Lalbaugcha Raja pandal.
Simran and her mother felt that the staff's actions, which are attended by thousands of devotees each year, ruined the occasion for them. Simran expressed her dissatisfaction on social media following the alleged theft of her mother's phone by a service member when she was snapping photos of the Ganesh idol. When Simran interfered, the bouncers on site also mistreated her severely. She mentioned in her caption that in the video, she is seen screaming: ‘Mat Karo! Kya Kar Rahe ho aap’ and it is only when they discovered that she is an actor that they backed off.

A lot of industry celebrities and colleagues of Simran took to the social media handle to share how unacceptable their behaviour is and it is good that Simran gave it back to them. Some even went on to mention how they too were manhandled.

We all know how massive the crowd is but the way they treat people is literally very bad! I hope next time they try to keep things organised and calm! Cause it literally feels like a hurricane in there! You don’t even get a proper one second to see Bappa nicely as they try to push you out from there!
