MUMBAI: Actress Ira Sone who has been part of the TV industry for a decade began her acting career in 2007 with Star Plus’ popular show Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan and also has been a part of several successful shows on Indian television. However, her fans have been missing her since her last appearance in yet another hit Star Plus shows Saath Nibhaana Saathiya a decade ago. the actress recently opened up about her Holi plans and also spell some more beans about the festival.
Talking about her plans for Holi, Ira says, "Holi is always with close friends and family, mostly I like to celebrate this festival at any event in the city where we dance, eat, play, and let our hair down. Also, I’ve always played holi with gulaal with echo-friendly colors and water balloons which were easy on the skin and leaves no marks."
Indian festivals are vastly known for their different types of delicacies and the actress talks about the sweets which satisfy her taste buds on Holi, Ira says, "I love Indian sweets and especially the gujiya made on Holi is my absolute favorite."
While Going down memory lane Ira opens up her best memories she has experienced this festival, saying, "I have fond memories of this festival with my late father, he was always the first one to put color on us and we had our sweet family celebration before we meet friends and cousins."
Ira concludes her talk by giving some suggestions to her fans, saying, "I want to urge everyone celebrating to be mindful and not put colors on pets and animals on the street."
