Laado producers hunting for lead actors of their new show

Shankuntalam Telefilms, the production house that brought us serials like Na Aana Iss Des Laado, Love Ne Mila Di Jodi and Santaan is putting finishing touches to a new show to be starting in December on Colors. According to sources, the story has been finalized though the casting process is still on. The story will be set in rural Punjab and based on the lifestyle there. It will be about the rivalry between two families and how it affects everyone around. Interestingly enough, though the show is all set to be launched next month, the producers are still hunting for their lead actors! Sources, however, confirmed that Abhaas Mehta (last seen in Devi) has been signed on to play a grey character. Abhaas neither confirmed nor denied the news. We tried calling producer Shayamasis Bhatacharjee but he was not available.
