Let's face it; Sach ka Saamna won't come back?

This was the first of its kind show where the contestants dared to bare by talking about their deepest and darkest secrets of their lives, even as host Rajeev Khandelwal gently prodded them to reveal some more. From taboo sex topics to extra marital affairs to murky secrets, everything was out on national television as contestants sat on the couch, unflinchingly.

The show kicked up a storm alright and it was even pushed to the 11 pm slot for its ‘adult content. Nevertheless, the show was a success and the channel promised to bring its second season reportedly by April, 2010. But all the hopes came to a rest when last month Delhi High Court rejected the channel’s plea to grant them the permission to commence the shoot of the second season. Khandelwal however sounded clueless about the development and said, “I have no idea about this. When season one concluded they had offered me to host the second season as well. After that I haven’t heard from them.” Vasudha Jha from Star Plus, refused to comment and said, “Since the matter is subjudice I can’t comment on it.” Anita Kaul Basu, director Big Synergy said, “I wouldn’t know as the channel hasn’t told us anything on the show. At least we aren’t doing the show for some time now and the channel too hasn’t approached us for whatever reasons behind it. We will think about it when they approach us.”
