MUMBAI: Nisovaa Musiic brings to you ‘O Rangreza,’ a new soul-stirring single by the ace singer Sonu Kakkar, celebrated for delivering hits like ‘London Thumakda’ and ‘Babuji Zara Dheere Chalo.’ Known for her powerful voice and emotive delivery, Sonu Kakkar returns with this romantic number that promises to captivate audiences once again. The song features the talented actor Paras Kalnawat, best known for his roles in Star Plus television shows like ‘Anupamaa’ and ‘Meri Durga,’ alongside digital creator and actress Kanika Shharma.

Shot against the picturesque landscapes of Kashmir in just a day, the song written and composed by Sanjeev Chaturvedi tells a poignant tale of friendship and love. It follows the journey of a young woman struggling with the pressures of daily life and an impending arranged marriage imposed by her family. Amidst this turmoil, she finds solace and genuine affection in her supportive friend, who stands by her with unwavering emotional support. This pure friendship gradually blossoms into profound love, making the song a touching narrative of human connection and emotional resilience.

Aside from ‘O Rangreza,’ Sonu Kakkar has several other projects in the pipeline. When she's not working, she enjoys playing sports and loves to paint. Recalling the recording of ‘O Rangreza’ a few years ago, Sonu, known for being selective about her projects, shares, “O Rangreza is a delightful melody, and I thoroughly enjoyed singing it! Actually, I recorded the song a few years ago, but I remember that when I first heard it, I loved its simplicity, and that's what made me say yes to it!”

“This was my first visit to Kashmir, and I've always wanted to shoot something there. I didn't just want to visit and see the sights on my own; I’ve always wanted to explore Kashmir while working there and my dream just came true!” enthuses Paras Kalnawat. Sharing her experience, Kanika Shharma imparts, “We laughed and danced a lot, and the camaraderie was next-level. There were moments where I thought, 'Is this really happening?' because it was just that perfect! This experience wasn’t just about acting – it was about being part of something larger than life.”

Young and emerging producer Nannd Patel expresses, “This song, a labour of pure love from everyone on my team, took almost two and a half years to create. With Sonu di's (Sonu Kakkar) vast fan base and the admiration for her voice, I am confident that people will love this song.”
