Krystal D’souza, the seventeen year old who debuted on television with ‘Kahe Naa Kahe’ is very excited these days. It was her secret desire to become an actress and Balaji gave her the right platform.
“Fame for me is what I’m currently going through. This industry is very big and Balaji is one of the finest production houses. I’m really grateful and lucky,” gushes Krystal.
Kahe Naa Kahe is the story of a middle-class girl called Kinjal who dreams big. “Kinjal is a simple girl who aspires to become big someday. She run a marriage bureau called Haldi Mehndi Marriage Bureau and plays the role of a match maker in the show. The business is that of her own and her family has nothing to do with it,” she explains.
This actress who is already a known face as she is seen on all the hoardings believes that she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Krystal is of the belief that, “For me acting is natural and it cannot be taught. At the Anupam Kher workshop I learned how to deliver dialogues and how to walk. Everything else that you see is my own input,” the dusky beauty quips.
Elaborating on her experiences she says, “I still remember my first day of shoot, I was very confident. I met Ekta the day before and she pepped me with words of encouragement. Besides my parents all the crew members totally support me. Being the youngest they all pamper me and make me feel at- home.”
Way to go Krystal!
