Mamata Banerjee sends a "birthday" letter to Indrani Haldar

A lady with a magnificent smile, Indrani Haldar, is celebrating her birthday today (6 January 2013) at her hometown in Kolkata. Last seen on television in Life OK’s Savitri, she has turned 43 but looks as stunning as ever. Before moving on, we would like to wish her a very happy birthday. Talking about the special day, she shares, “I started my day by visiting Jagannath and Vaishno Devi temple in Kolkata and performed pooja. I am not throwing a party as I am little unwell and resting at home. I have called my few close friends and family for dinner at my place in the evening. It will be a small get-together to celebrate my birthday.” “Last night my loved ones surprised me with lovely cakes and gifts. My sister-in-law gave me a saree. One of my colleagues gave me jewellery, my doctor and best friend gifted me gold coins, my hair dresser, with whom I have been working since the last 25 years, gifted me a dress. I am sure many more gifts will come my way by end of the day. But I was truly humbled when Mamata Banerjee (West Bengal Chief Minister) sent me letter wishing me happy birthday. As a matter of fact I respect her and she loves me a lot.” How do you feel on getting a year older? “I can proudly say that I have turned 43 today. I am feeling good and fit as I have maintained myself very well. So growing old really doesn’t bother me.” Any wish you want to get fulfilled? “Work, work and work till I live.
