Manoj Chandila excited to play Abhay in Sony TV's Desh Ki Beti...Nandini

The much talked about show Desh Ki Beti…Nandini (Rashmi Sharma Productions) on Sony Entertainment Television starting from Monday is bringing some known faces back on TV. Apart from the lead Keerti Nagpure, there is another talented actor - Manoj Chandila who will be back after his stint in Mrs Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein. He will be seen playing the role of - the political advisor of the Raghuvanshi family. “My character is not part of both the families but he is an outsider who has a strong hold in the political decisions the Raghuvanshi family takes.” Speaking further on the character he quipped, “Abhay is an extremely intelligent and self made man. Since he is not born with a silver spoon, he wants to achieve things with his hard work and intelligence. He is result orientated and has a practical approach towards everything.” “Since he does not belong to the royal family, he is modest and knows how to connect with people. His rational and creative thinking makes him a favourite with this political family and they rely upon him for all the decisions. He will be the one who will play a guide to Rajveer (Rafi Malik),” he added. So how did he prepare for the role, we asked him? “Well, it was definitely a very strong character where I had to do my homework well. I observed the international bureaucrats and public speakers for their mannerism and of course I followed the brief closely that was given to me by my directors and producers.” Well, Manoj we wish you the best with this new show.
