Marzi loses his 'strong' pair, Surya-Sneha in DID Doubles

Looked like Marzi Pestonjee’s mentor-guide, Shiamal Davar’s presence on the Dance India Dance sets last week proved unlucky for his dancer-couple, Surya and Sneha for they got the boot this week. A source reveals, “This week Surya and Sneha will be eliminated. It was a shocking elimination because Grandmaster MithunDa had given them a standing ovation last week. After this elimination Dada even said that now he is afraid of giving standing ovations. In the Saturday episode, Amit-Falon will perform a shadow act while Cornell and Sonali will present a very sensual act. Vikram and Niharika presented a folk act. They used Gulaal but amidst all of it there was fire on the stage as a result Niharika choked and fainted. Dad even remarked that magic happens on the sets of DID. It s an interesting mix this week.” The competition gets tougher with six pairs left on the show.
