MUMBAI: MasterChef India 6 got its winner in chef Abinas Nayak. The cooking reality show is one of the most prestigious ones in India and churns out the best chefs amidst several homechefs. Abinas from Odisha was declared as the winner and he lifted the trophy along with a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh.
The series was a short one with 20 episodes. Akanksha Khatri, Oindrila Bala, Abinas, and Smrutisree Singh were the four finalists.
While Abinas won the MasterChef title, Oindrila emerged as the first runner-up of the show. Abinas is a technology analyst by profession, while on the other hand Oindrila Bala is a tax consultant from Kolkata.
MasterChef judge Vikas Khanna, who was one of the three judges on the show, shared this news on his Instagram account. Vikas judged the season with fellow chefs Ranveer Brar and Vineet Bhatia.
He captioned the picture as' MasterChef India Winner 6. Jai Ho!!! @abimilano (sic).'
