Meet the new nag kanya of television - Yashashri Masurkar

Yes, the girl that you see in the picture is Yashashri holding a serpent, which as per popular opinion is dangerous. But the lovely actress has a different tale to tell. “I love animals and somehow I love snakes a lot. I was shooting for a sequence for my Marathi show Lek Ladki Ya Gharachi (ETV Marathi) at Chandivili Studious (Mumbai), wherein I had to hold a snake. I took it and wrapped it around my neck. I must say, it was a strange feeling,” shares Yashashri with Tellychakkar.com. “Around my neck the snake started getting restless and I got a little scared. But things got calm later. Finally, the snake master came in and very cautiously unwrapped the snake from my neck and I felt a lot relieved (laughs).” She ends by stating, “I always had a dream to wrap up snake like Lord Shiva and my dream came true.” It must have been a great experience for sure…
