MUMBAI: Sony Entertainment Television’s popular show India’s Best Dancer is creating the right buzz for its unique content and entertainment quotient. The top 11 contestants, along with their choreographers, are leaving no stone unturned to give their best performances. These contestants are evaluated on their moves, novelty factor and concept by the terrific trio of judges – Geeta Kapur, Terence Lewis and Malaika Arora. This weekend, India’s Best Dancer will welcome a special guest who has carved a niche for himself in the dance domain and has also mentored a lot of aspiring dancers in his career. He is none other than Dharmesh, who is fondly addressed as Dharmesh sir.
Contestant Tiger Pop, who hails from Gurugram, along with choreographer Vartika Jha performed on the track ‘Chura Ke Dil Mera’. Looking at their jaw-dropping moves, Dharmesh said, “I commend your timing. I had not taught this to you Vartika, this is some other level. I remember it would be difficult for others to match up to Vartika even earlier. Looking at you Tiger, I am remembering my own journey.”
In the upcoming weekend, the audience will witness three generations of dance experts come together on stage. After their performance, Dharmesh could not help but notice that he was sitting with his guru Geeta Ma and watching his shishya Vartika perform on stage. Immediately after the performance was over, Vartika said, “I am very happy to see you again Dharmesh Sir” and even recited a shayari for him, which she had penned down. Dharmesh replied saying, “There are three generations of dancers on the set today, Geeta Maa my guru and Vartika my shishya.” While Dharmesh was speaking of Geeta Ma being like the grandmother, Haarsh mentioned and spoke of Farah Khan who is a guru to Geeta Ma. “If she comes then, she will be the great grandmother,” Geeta quipped.

Moreover, Geeta also lauded Vartika and Tiger for their energy levels. “Today, Tiger you were shining on stage. I enjoyed your performance. Vartika, you are only getting better (with choreography) with each performance and you guys have such amazing chemistry.”
Dharmesh even joined Tiger Pop and Vartika on stage and shook a leg on the song Chura Ke Dil Mera. It will be a treat for the audience to witness three generations of dancers come together on the show India’s Best Dancer. Dharmesh who has made a name for himself in the dance fraternity, is grateful for all the guidance and learning he received from Geeta Kapur, just as he is happy to witness his student Vartika nail it on stage along with contestant Tiger Pop, to whom she is passing on the dance techniques and training him hone his craft.
