Megha to marry Varun in Ladies Special?

After a brief stint as a host on Perfect Bride, Megha is back to what she does the best. She will enter Ladies Special and will be seen as the new and fifth lead in the show. According to sources, the actress will be seen portraying a prominent character in the show and may eventually even get married to Varun Badola. Informs our source, ‘Megha will essay the role of Dr. Mridula, a small town girl who comes down to Mumbai in search of a job. She later meets Neena on the Ladies Special that they board and eventually starts helping her. The two ladies start looking after the kids at an orphanage. Neena secretly sees her as a prospective daughter-in-law. Alongside it is also rumoured that Payal Sarkar is soon going to quit and the show. This would take place in the coming 15 days. Sarkar wants to do Bengali movies and this is the reason she doesn’t want to continue with the show. There was always a problem in getting Payal’s dates.” But another source has a different version on Payal’s status. Says the source, “I don’t think Payal is quitting the show. She will shoot for the show till it’s on. The show may go on a seasonal break in a month’s time. Whether or not it gets an extension is a decision that is yet to be taken by the channel and the production house.” Megha Gupta remained unavailable. We tried contacting Payal Sarkar to know her status but she too was not reachable. We sent a text message to Sanjeev Sharma, co-producer Optimystix, but he didn’t reply.
