The daily that launched last year, presents the tale of a family in UP where the patriarchal (Krutika Desai) projects a conservative thought process while the youngest bahu (Ekta Kaul) is a modern day working woman who wants equality in her rights.
Although aired at an early evening slot, Mere Angne Mein has become a favourite with the masses.
The team celebrated the occasion by cutting a cake and having a get together.
Now coming to the upcoming track, a new entry will spice up things.
Abhishek Sharma, who has been part of Suvreen Guggal and Best of Luck Nicky, has been signed in to play a very interesting role.
Shared a source, “Abhishek will play Lallan mama, the uncle of bablu, who recently entered the show. He would be seen torturing the family and pressurising him to keep Bablu safe with them. He would be a goonda, ready to create troubles for the family.”
When we buzzed Abhishek, he confirmed his entry and shared, "I am really excited to be a part of the show and looking forward to my journey with Mere Angne Mein."
The actor has begun shooting and his entry will air in a couple of days.
