MUMBAI: Television actress Navina Bole, celebrated for her roles in popular shows such as Miley Jab Hum Tum and Ishqbaaaz, has recently made headlines for an alarming disclosure involving filmmaker Sajid Khan.
After her last appearance in the series Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, Bole had been on a break from television. However, she is now in the spotlight once again, this time for exposing a deeply unsettling experience from her past.
In a recent interview, Bole recounted a disturbing encounter with Khan, accusing him of engaging in casting couch practices. The actress revealed that what initially seemed like an exciting opportunity quickly turned into a harrowing ordeal when she was invited not to an office, but to Khan’s private residence.

"I was genuinely thrilled when he called me," Bole shared. "However, the meeting took a shocking turn when he told me, ‘Why don’t you just take off your clothes and sit in your lingerie? I need to see how comfortable you are.’"
Bole further explained how Khan attempted to normalise the inappropriate demand by referring to her previous performance attire. "He said, 'You’ve worn a bikini on stage before, so what’s the problem? It’s all t*ts and a**,'" she recalled, quoting Khan’s crude language. "He insisted I should calm down, sit comfortably, and be myself."
Fortunately, Bole had someone waiting for her downstairs, a presence she believes helped her escape the distressing situation safely. “I didn’t know how to react," she admitted. "I told him, ‘If you really need to see me in a bikini, I’ll have to go home and change, but I cannot simply strip here and now.’”
After she managed to leave the premises, Bole alleges that Khan repeatedly tried to contact her, calling her nearly 50 times to question her absence and monitor her whereabouts.
This is not the first time Sajid Khan has faced such allegations. Previously, actress Sherlyn Chopra had also accused the filmmaker of inappropriate conduct.
Navina Bole’s courageous decision to speak out once again brings to light the persistent issues within the entertainment industry, reinforcing the need for safer and more respectful working environments for all performers.
