MUMBAI: Fitness has always been a priority for B-town celebrities. And when we speak of fitness, one of the names that come to mind is Indian supermodel and fitness enthusiast Milind Soman.

Popularly known as the ‘Ironman of India’, Milind Soman celebrated the 72nd Independence of India by running for 72 kms. He ran barefoot holding our national flag and was wearing a khakhi dhoti and a black t-shirt.

According to recent reports, Milind along with his wife Ankita Konwar is all set to be a part of Colors' popular reality show Bigg Boss 12. In a rendezvous’ with TellyChakkar, Milind cleared the air and shared more details about his upcoming run to Portugal this year.

Fitness as a necessity...

According to Milind, fitness has never been a necessity to him but more of a passion. 'I have never planned on becoming a fitness freak but I run because that makes me happy and freshens my mind,' says Milind.

The actor has been a part of many commercial advertisements and a handful of B-town movies where he gave fans major reasons to drool on his charm and looks.

Upcoming Projects

Taking about his upcoming projects in Bollywood, Milind shares, 'I have shot for a bunch of them but they haven’t yet released as of now, so every time and now the promotional team keeps calling me and shares the project is all set to go on floors and that’s how I remember that "oh yes I shot for that"' (laughs).

Further elaborating on the same, Milind shares, 'I am working for a few projects but let’s see what turns out the best for me and web is something that is progressing would definitely love to be a part of it.'

No Bigg Boss!

As the heartthrob has always been in news for his motivational and fitness zeal, one would think that Milind would want to be a part of shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi or some show related to adventure and travel. According to recent reports on an online media portal, Milind will be seen entering Bigg Boss 12 along with his wife.

Talking about the same, Milind clarifies, 'No I am not a part of the Bigg Boss house. I wouldn’t mind being locked in a house with 20 other people. It would be fun to be very honest, but as of now, I am NOT a part of the house and nor is my wife Ankita.'

Life post marriage...

'What better than having a partner who shares the same mind set,' says Milind on wife Ankita.

'She enjoys travel and is a fitness fanatic just like me,' he adds. The actor is all praises for her. The duo have exciting travel plans further this year and Milind looks forward to it.
