MUMBAI: On the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak's 550th birthday anniversary, the governments of India and Pakistan shall soon sign a pact to open access to the Kartarpur corridor. This will enable pilgrims and followers of Guru Nanak in India to visit the Gurudwara which is also his birthplace.
Mohit Malik expressed his happiness and said, "It is truly a historical event for all of us. It’s Guru Nanak Ji’s 550th birthday, and it’s a big day for us as Sikhs. I’m thankful to the Governments of both the countries to have made this happen. I sincerely want to visit the Gurudwara in Kartarpur with my mother and am planning to take a few days off from my shoot for GuruNanak Jayanti and will try my best to visit the Gurudwara. I’ve also heard that Guru Grant Sahib’s last few teachings and notes might still be there. I would love to get an opportunity to read them as well.”
Mohit Malik portrays the role of Sikandar in Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala which is a show based on the life of Kullfi, who comes from a village to Mumbai to find her father and all the ups and downs she faces. Kullfi is shown to have taken after her father and has the voice of a music maestro.
