One of tinsel town’s most adored couples, Mugdha Chaphekar and Ravish Desai, tied knot on 14 December (2016).
In a candid conversation with Tellychakkar.com, Mugdha talked about her life post marriage, her wedding ceremony and a lot more. She said, “The phase of my life is great. It’s new but so comfortable. The newness is there but nothing is different. Nothing has changed as such, except the thing that everyone is telling me that I am married. It’s just like staying with your best friend and it’s lovely!”
Last year has certainly been special for Mugdha and Ravish. Mugdha elaborated, “The best thing about 2016 was that the year began with our engagement and then our marriage. Work-wise, the year was okay for me. I would say that the year has been a mix of everything and has been good, both on personal or professional front.”
We also asked Mugdha about her wedding ceremony. She told us, “It was a private affair. We tried to keep it restricted to our loved ones and close people from the industry. It was done in a very traditional way, which is what we wanted. We still get the feedback that it was a great event and everybody enjoyed the wedding.”
She continued, “Out of all the seven mothers from our show Satrangi Sasural, a couple of them were travelling…otherwise all would have attended. Farida Ji (Jalal) made it a point to come. She would say, “Mere bete ki shaadi hai, main toh aaungi.” We were honoured that she came and it was the happiest moment for us. Supriya Ji (Shukla) and Feroz Ji (Khan) were also present, so where Ravish’s friends like Dishank Arora and Ravjeet Singh.”
When we asked Mugdha about her honeymoon, she shared with us, “We haven’t planned anything about it as such. Whenever we wish, we can make a sudden plan and go for a trip but as of now we want to start our work right now. We both are looking for good projects. Let’s see if something nice comes our way.”
“A special thanks to all our fans for pouring in their love and good wishes for us. We have been getting so many gifts from everywhere. We will always need your good wishes and prayers,” signed off Mugdha.
